About Khwaja Yunus Ali University

Institutional Heritage & Legacy

A Heritage of Scholarship, Moral Piety, and Humanitarian Upliftment

Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU) was established in 2012 under the Private University Act 2010 with the visionary objective of delivering world-class tertiary education in an inspiring, eco-friendly riverfront setting. Situated along the serene western embankment of the mighty Jamuna River in Enayetpur, Sirajganj, the university offers an idyllic educational sanctuary far removed from urban congestion and environmental degradation.

Named in reverent memory of the revered Sufi saint Hazrat Khwaja Yunus Ali (R) of Enayetpur, the institution embodies a harmonious synthesis of cutting-edge modern science, technical innovation, and profound humanitarian ethics. Under the philanthropic foundation laid by Dr. M. M. Amjad Hussain and the stewardship of the Board of Trustees, KYAU operates within an integrated higher education and healthcare ecosystem anchored by the renowned 1,000-bed Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College & Hospital (KYAMCH) and modern cancer treatment facility.
